Brooklyn – The M Center has gained great acclaim as a reliable training ground for performing artists and now the M’s other specifically – spirituality – is gaining equal praise.

The M’s monthly REIKI Circle scored a major triumph last week when attendance forced an extra session to be arranged. Mary Elizabeth Micari, the M’s founder and ordained REIKI minister, is bringing on extra tarot card readers in expectation of the same for the return of the M’s monthly Psychic Night/Tarot Reading night this Friday, April 24.

M’s courses in physical and spiritual wellness have blossomed over the last few weeks. New semesters of Tarot 1 and Tarot 2 have come to a close; a new series of courses on Herbalism and Spell-Craft begin shortly; and a new instructor has been retained for an entire program on belly-dancing.

This Friday’s Tarot Night – after a short hiatus – returns to its monthly schedule and Ms. Micari is expecting the same exuberance that followed the REIKI Circle. When Ms. Micari asked if she was ever worried that the neighborhood would not want a spiritual wellness center, she replied that she knew it would be a success.

Maybe it was in the cards.
