Mary and I don’t have a second anymore. She’s welcomed several new students and a group of new classes including a kid’s performance class and a Tarot series, so she is at the studio during all the prime hours and then some! She is also working on the M BAND’s first recording session at Wayne Koehler’s gorgeous recording studio in Brooklyn. AND she’s ready to prepare the program for November’s Master Class concert which will also serve as our first anniversary celebration.
I just attended my first Grant Seminar, redid our Fall brochure (coming soon!), taught my first WRITING FOR THE STAGE AND SCREEN course, and am now preparing for my ACTING class; I also began the theatre search for the November concert; AND I’m promoting WrightGroupNY’s fall 2014 client list that includes John Chatterton’s Sweet 16 MIDTOWN INTERNATIONAL THEATRE FESTIVAL season, THE BRONX OPERA’S Countdown to Gold, and THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT (a macabre theatre fest I’m producing with Andrew Rothkin going up in October and arranging audition opportunities for the M students).
We don’t stop work until midnight usually; have a brief dinner and sit gasping for air on the couch with our heads full of what needs be done for the next day.
AND LET’S NOT FORGET OUR M IS FOR MEDIA FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
